Having recently been introduced to the brand; Drunk Elephant, it’s safe to say I had already been won over by a few of their products that I tried out such as their Protini - Polypeptide Cream and their views and stance on using ‘clean’ ingredients within their products and chic packaging, what’s not to love?

When I first tried this out, I wasn’t sure how much to apply or how the drops would initially look on my skin so for me, it was definitely trial and error until I worked out the correct amount for my skin-tone. The first time I applied this, I used about 3-4 pumps which looking back on, was rather questionable as this was way too dark for my skin and looked a little unnatural! I also applied this straight onto my skin which is perhaps why I had a bit of a shock…

Having learnt from that mistake, I then found that 1 pump was enough as my skin-tone is rather fair and light and I wanted something that made my skin look radiant with a healthy, bronzed effect. I also applied the Sunshine Drops to a moisturiser this time, so that the application was easier and I found that adding the Sunshine Drops to a moisturiser, allowed me to get the benefits of hydration and nourishing my skin whilst still having that fresh, glow from the Sunshine Drops.

The texture of Sunshine Drops was light and not too gloopy or heavy when applied onto my skin. I also liked that this was fragrance-free and the overall effect from applying the Sunshine Drops made my skins appear healthy, dewy and sun-kissed! Again, don’t make the mistake I did! Gradually build up the amount of Sunshine Drops until you achieve the tint and glow that you’re after.
