FENTY BEAUTY - WHAT IT DEW MAKEUP REFRESHING SPRAY

Having a mist/spray in my skincare routine is an absolute must for me as I find it to be a simple yet highly effective way of being able to hydrate my skin when needed throughout the day and for my skins appearance to look dewy and radiant! I attended the launch of Fenty Beauty back in September 2018 and that remains to this date, one of my all time favourite events I’ve ever had the privilege of being invited to so when I saw on social media that Fenty Beauty were releasing their ‘WHAT IT DEW MAKEUP REFRESHING SPRAY’, I knew instantly I had to have it!

Made up of herbal extracts such as borage and cornflower, these ingredients helps to hydrate skin whilst the formula of WHAT IT DEW absorbs quickly without leaving your skin feeling sticky. WHAT IT DEW can be applied prior to your makeup to help boost radiation and to leave your skin feeling prepped beforehand. For me however, I don’t wear makeup and the only time I’ll use something to enhance my skin is fake tan so I have been using this mainly as a way to keep my skin hydrated rather than a makeup tool.

I’m going to be honest here, but I was slightly disappointed with WHAT IT DEW as I felt that for the price-tag of £24, it didn’t live up to the hype in my opinion. WHAT IT DEW instructs you to spray this 10-12” away from your face/skin, but because the mist is so ultra-fine, I could barely feel anything and it was only when I sprayed this right up close to my face/skin that I could…

With that being said, when the mist did spray well, I found that it did indeed leave my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated and I treat this as more of a ‘top up’ throughout the day or before I head out rather than a staple within my skincare routine. There is a slight rose scent to this which almost smells ‘candylike’ and gives me those Summer vibes!
