WHY I NEEDED THIS BREAK

I had fallen off the track. Face first. Slap bang. Down on the ground.

Okay, I'm being dramatic, but still! It is coming up to 1 year of blogging, and the one thing that I hadn't anticipated, was the feeling of being overwhelmed. I felt as though life was getting in the way of my blog, and whilst I could feel myself falling behind when it came to blogging and social media, for some reason, no matter how hard I tried to motivate myself... I just couldn't.

For me personally, I have found that blogging throughout the Summer season, was harder than I thought! Is that just me? I felt as though all of my friends were off out, enjoying the sunshine, doing their thing, whilst I was indoors working on blog posts. It almost came to the point where I was starting to resent blogging.. (Almost being the keyword here!)

However, after taking a week or so out from blogging, I came to the realisation that my blog is now a huge part of my life, and whilst the little break away from it did me good, I started to miss it! I absolutely love blogging, and I will always be grateful for all of your support, the events I am fortunate enough to attend, and the brands who I have built relationships up with.

I have so many things planned for my blog, and fresh content which I cannot wait to share with you all! With Autumn/Winter fast approaching, I gladly welcome these two seasons and I am excited for what lies ahead. I am hoping that you will have read this post and perhaps thought 'Eh, what's he on about? I didn't even notice he took a break.' If so, then great!

Have you taken a break from blogging? How long for? Do you think it's good to have a break from blogging? Let me know your comments down below, I would love to hear from you!
