Have you ever been abroad, got off a plane somewhere hot, and there's a dreamy smell lingering in the air but you can't quite work out what it is? Well, this is Soleil Blanc summed up. I am so infatuated with this fragrance, that I am placing Soleil Blanc firmly amongst my top 3 fragrances. Ever.
I had been made aware about Soleil Blanc back in January, and I had felt like I had been cheated on when this fragrance was released over in America first! After the Kiehl's event that I had attended, I'd walked through Selfridges and made a beeline for Tom Ford. (Naturally.) I had enquired about the release date for Soleil Blanc, and couldn't quite believe my luck when the sales assistant asked me if I wanted to smell it! Ever since Soleil Blanc got sprayed on my hand, I've been hooked ever since.
Soleil Blanc consists of the notes; Cocoa De Mer, Bergamot, Ylang, Pistachio and Amber. This fragrance smells like Summer in a bottle. It is divine! It has a slight 'suntan lotion' smell to it, and the sweetness of this transports me to somewhere exotic.
When first initially sprayed, the notes of Bergamot and Cocoa De Mer blend beautifully together and with the dry-down taking place, the Cocoa De Mer remains very prominent. I have worn this scent for about a week now, and I have constantly been getting complimented! The only downside to this however, is the projection. Whilst it remains one of my favourites, I just wish it was slightly 'louder.' Nevertheless, I just use this as an excuse to lather it on even more!
Another feature to this fragrance that I adore, is the bottle itself. The design is stunning! I love how clean, and slick the bottle looks. Soleil Blanc's release date nationwide, is early May and comes in 50ml, 100ml and 250ml. It will be available to buy very soon, however, if you don't want to wait another week or so, then I am very pleased to share this little secret with you... You can buy Soleil Blanc here! I will also be trying out the Soleil Blanc Body Oil very shortly, so be sure to check back for that review!
Have you already smelt Soleil Blanc? What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear some feedback from you, and don't forget to check out my other Tom Ford fragrance reviews; Neroli Portofino Acqua, Noir De Noir, Tobacco Oud and Tobacco Vanille!
