TOM FORD ALL OVER BODY SPRAYS

There is nothing more I love, than a delivery from Tom Ford! So when I began unwrapping the latest addition to the Tom Ford Grooming Collection; The All Over Body Sprays, it felt like Christmas had arrived early. These Body Sprays are a godsend to me, as I find myself going through the Eau De Parfums extremely quickly, spraying them on every part of my body and clothes! So with these body sprays, they compliment and add a new layer to the Eau De Parfums, making the scents last longer, and project further.

I received three scents from the Tom Ford Private Blend Collection which were;

  1. Tobacco Vanille
  2. Noir De Noir
  3. Tuscan Leather

TOBACCO VANILLE

The Eau De Parfum of Tobacco Vanille was my first ever purchase from the Private Blend Collection! Arguably one of the only fragrances which has garnered me a lot of compliments, and one which I never tire of wearing. The Body Spray of Tobacco Vanille is the strongest out of the three, and lasted for up to nearly five hours on my clothes and skin! Funnily enough, I don't think people realised that I was wearing this scent as the Body Spray, as I was still getting complimented on the scent just as much as if it were the Eau De Parfum version. You can read my review on the Tobacco Vanille Eau De Parfum here for more details in full!

NOIR DE NOIR

Noir De Noir will always remain a strong, Winter favourite of mine. Having bought the Eau De Parfum of Noir De Noir this time last year, it evokes a lot of memories for me. Although the Body Spray isn't as concentrated as the Eau De Parfum, it accompanies the fragrance perfectly and adds a different layer. In terms of longevity, I found that this lasted on my clothes and skin for up to two-three hours. I have previously reviewed the Noir De Noir Eau De Parfum before, which you can read here for more details about the fragrance itself and the different notes!

TUSCAN LEATHER

Tuscan Leather to me has enormous sillage and longevity, and this Body Spray is no different! I ran out of Tuscan Leather a few months ago, so to have the scent back again, is a delight. I found that the Body Spray lasted upon my skin and clothes for up to four hours, and like Tobacco Vanille, I received a lot of compliments from wearing this.

The full collection of the Body Sprays consist of Tobacco Vanille, Noir De Noir, Tuscan Leather, Neroli Portofino and Oud Wood. Each of them are available to purchase here, and I would strongly recommend trying these out, as I have found these to be a perfect addition to wear on top of the Eau De Parfum fragrances!

JO MALONE GERANIUM & WALNUT HAND CREAM

The latest offering from Jo Malone couldn't have come at a more perfect time! As much of a lover as I am of the seasons; Autumn & Winter, the one thing which I suffer from quite a bit, as I'm sure many others do, is having dry hands!

The application of the hand cream was a small amount into the palms of my hands, and gently massaged into the skin. I found the Hand Cream to be very lightweight, and one of the things that I loved about this, was that it didn't feel too gloopy or thick! It absorbed perfectly and my hands felt moisturised and soothed after application.

The ingredients of the Geranium mixed with the Walnut made for a divine scent, with the Geranium ingredient remaining prominent, giving this Hand Cream an earthy feel to it.

Jo Malone Geranium & Walnut Hand Cream is available in all Jo Malone boutiques, and can be purchased online here. Don't forget to read my other Jo Malone blog posts such as their Black Cedarwood & Juniper fragrance, and their luxurious Christmas Event that I attended!

Have you used the Geranium & Walnut Hand Cream before? What did you think to it? Which is your favourite Jo Malone product? Let me know in the comments section down below, and don't forget to give this blog post a 'like'!

KIEHL'S ON WHEELS - MANCHESTER

I had seen various social media posts about the 'Kiehl's On Wheels', and I had always thought it looked rather interesting and unique in which the brand drive up and down the country to talk about their different products! Which leads me to say, that when I had been asked to attend, it was a no brainer!

Sunday 30th October had arrived, and despite having gone out the night before for Halloween, I was surprisingly okay! I took my blogger friend Amy along with me, and we ventured over to Manchester where the event was to take place in The Exchange Square. I messed up my timings slightly, so we were a little late (apologies again!), but the lovely Hannah quickly got us up to speed, and began going through the Kiehl's daytime and nighttime skincare regime.

We got shown how to apply various products on the backs of our hand, to get a feel for the products and to see them in action. The order started from nighttime, going through to the daytime from when you wake up.

NIGHTTIME TO DAYTIME SKINCARE REGIME

The following list shows the order in which these products are best applied:

  1. Centella Skin-Calming Facial Cleanser
  2. Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque
  3. Cactus Flower & 'Tibetan Ginseng' Hydrating Mist
  4. Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate
  5. Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate
  6. Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado or Daily Reviving Concentrate
  7. Ultra Facial Cream or Midnight Recovery Concentrate
  8. Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream
  9. Ultra Light Daily UV Defense

Each product got tested upon my right hand, as my left hand had the 'Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Masque' on for the duration of the event. The products felt incredibly light on my skin, and what I loved the most was that they all absorbed rather quickly! I have to say that the Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Radiance Masque, Ultra Facial Cream and Cactus Flower & Tibetan Ginseng Hydrating Mist are all my new favourites!

We each then had a skin consultation, and the last time I had attended a Kiehl's event, I also had one, so I was intrigued to see if my skin had changed at all. My skin type was classed as normal, which I was pretty impressed with as this is what I had the last time, however I also had a different test, this time to check on my moisture levels, and the results came back as dehydrated! I swear drinking two litres of water daily whilst you're working and socialising is just not do-able.. Anyway!

As the event came to a close, each of us wrote our names down to be placed in a prize draw in which one of our names would be read out as the winner of a Kiehl's Luxury Hamper worth over £145 and guess who won..? Me! Safe to say that the overall experience had been made a lot sweeter by being the prize winner! I also couldn't resist purchasing the Kiehl's Christmas Advent Calendar, one I am thoroughly excited to be opening up throughout the Christmas period! Can we just fast forward to the 1st December now please?

As an avid lover of skincare, Kiehl's have always come top for me with their many items which I have reviewed such as their Facial Fuel, Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and their Age Defender Moisturiser.

Have you tried any of the Kiehl's products before? Have you ever gone to the Kiehl's On Wheels? Which is your favourite Kiehl's product? Do let me know, as I would love to hear from you all! Also, don't forget to hit the like button down below if you enjoyed this post!

HEALTHY HALLOWEEN SNACKS

Last weekend I played around with some healthy ideas for some Halloween snacks! I wanted to recreate some of my favourite ideas from Pinterest, and various other websites and show that although healthy food can be deemed as 'boring', these ideas will hopefully show that not all healthy food is! I hope you enjoy this fun little blog post, and if you have created any cool ideas with food, then do let me know!

SCARY PEPPERS

  1. Before you begin you will need two peppers (or as many as you want!), a sharp knife, some spaghetti, rice and some food colouring.
  2. Begin by cutting off the top of the pepper to create a lid.
  3. Draw on a scary face outline so you have a guideline on where to cutout. (Don't worry, the pen will wash off!)
  4. Once the outline of the face is created, then begin by carefully cutting out the shapes without cutting all the way through.
  5. When you are happy with the outline, boil up some spaghetti and place within one of the peppers.
  6. Add some tomato purée to the spaghetti and mix together slowly.
  7. For your second pepper, mix some rice with some food colouring and slowly stuff the rice within the pepper.
  8. Decorate the peppers as you wish and drape the spaghetti in and out of the mouth, and the same for the rice!

WACKY WATERMELON SLICES

  1. To begin you will need a watermelon, a sharp knife, chocolate chips, and other decorative food pieces you may have lying spare.
  2. Cut out the watermelon and break the pieces down into a triangular shape.
  3. You can have as many faces as you want!
  4. Decorate the faces with various pieces, for instance I chose the watermelon seeds, some leftover rice and spaghetti for the hair and some chocolate chips for the eyes!

GHOULISH BAGELS AND BANANA'S

  1. Before you start you will need one banana, a bagel, chocolate chips and some blueberries.
  2. Spread some cream cheese across the bagel.
  3. Cut out the hole to make it as big as you want for the mouth effect.
  4. Add two blueberries for the eyes.
  5. Cut the banana into three quarters.
  6. Add some chocolate chips for the eyes.

These three healthy ideas are a great way to spend time with your family members or your partner, and each one of the ideas were super quick and easy to make!

Have you experimented with food like this before for a holiday season? Which is your favourite idea that I created? Will you be trying any of these out? Let me know down below, and don't forget to hit that like button!

HALLOWEEN DRINKS WITH 31DOVER

I've made no secret of the fact that I love a good night out! Socialising with my friends, meeting new people, and with Halloween just days away, I was truly ecstatic to have received 3 sample bottles from 31DOVER.com in time for the Halloween's events! Each bottle of the spirit that I received were all specifically picked out for Halloween.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

KRAKEN BLACK SPICED RUM

I am a huge rum-based lover, especially when it's spiced/dark. So this, without a doubt was my favourite out of the three! I mixed the Black Spiced Rum with Coke, and found that it mixed perfectly.

CRYSTAL HEAD VODKA

Slightly off topic, but I must mention that this was the most aesthetically pleasing out of the three, and one I will use as an 'Instagram' prop for future reference.. Anyway! I mixed the Vodka with Lemonade, and found it to blend well. Also, Vodka mixed with Lemonade is my go-to drink when I'm wanting a good time!

PATRON XO CAFE COFFEE LIQUEUR WITH SILVER TEQUILA

I wasn't a huge fan of the Tequila spirit beforehand, so it came as a pleasant surprise to find that I actually enjoyed this drink! I couldn't taste the Tequila as much, primarily due to the fact that the coffee taste was very prominent. I didn't mix the Coffee Liqueur with Silver Tequila with anything, instead taking it as a shot and found it to be smooth and creamy!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

31Dover.com offers Next Day Delivery on all drinks stocked, and with the enormous selection of drinks, I couldn't think of a more perfect excuse to have a good Halloween weekend...

Have you ordered from 31Dover before? Have you tried any of the drinks that were mentioned? Which is your favourite alcoholic beverage? Don't forget to hit the like button down below, and leave me a comment to reply to!

MAISON MARGIELA REPLICA; BY THE FIREPLACE

The 'Replica' fragrances by Maison Margiela are designed to evoke a nostalgic feel to them, creating memories and thoughts from various places, eras and times throughout the years.

I received By The Fireplace and I must admit, prior to receiving this fragrance, I was first made aware of this scent earlier this year. By The Fireplace was the fragrance which stood out to me amongst all the other Replica fragrances, due to the fact it stood out by a clear mile!

The notes featured within the fragrance are:

  • Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Orange Blossom, Cloves
  • Middle Notes: Chestnut, Guaiac Wood, Juniper
  • Base Notes: Vanilla, Peru Balsam, Cashmeran

What I love about the By The Fireplace fragrance, is that it is exactly what it says. When first sprayed, I get a real 'caramel' feel to it, and the longevity of By The Fireplace is by far one of the longest lasting fragrances upon my skin that I have tried this year. In terms of sillage, I would say this is heavy, and I've often been told that people know where I've been due to the fragrance lingering around in the air!

I would suggest wearing this fragrance on a cold, Autumnal night, and only minimal sprays are needed! Also, how slick is the bottle? It reminds me of the laboratory glasses I used to see in the Science classes at school! Or perhaps that's just me..? By The Fireplace is available to purchase here, and comes only in the 100ml.

Have you smelt any of the Replica fragrances by Maison Margiela before? Which did you try? If you liked this post, don't forget to hit the like button down below, and also leave a comment! I reply to everybody.

ANTHROPOLOGIE LEEDS STORE OPENING

I had been invited along to the store opening of Anthropologie, in the newly built 'Victoria Gate' in Leeds. A Women's and Lifestyle brand which features lots of home decor and delicate little items! I had been excited to attend the event for a while, primarily due to the fact Victoria Gate was opening up, and because I had been needing some interior inspiration for my studio room in which I film my YouTube content!

20161020_183833255_iOS.jpg

I took along my friend Daniel, and we made our way over to the pop-up bar (of course), where Pintura were providing the drinks. I opted for the white wine and we soon made our way around the store. The whole store was bustling, and with Christmas coming up, it felt the ideal opportunity to get as many ideas for presents as I could! Live music from Katie Dean accompanied the event perfectly, and gave the store a real easy-going feel to it.

It was only after having left the event, did I realise that Anthropologie is indeed part of the 'Urban Outfitters' family! As daft as it may sound, it makes a lot of sense now, with many similarities shared between them such as the 'bohemian, quirky' vibe each store has!

If you get a chance to visit the Anthropologie store, make sure you do! Situated in the newly built Victoria Gate within Leeds, however do not worry if you don't have a local store as you can still check out the Anthropologie website for more goodies! Also, as deafness plays a big part in mine and my family's lives, it was really lovely to see a 'Sign Language Chart' hung up on the wall!

Have you visited Anthropologie before? Have you bought anything from their store? What did you buy? Don't forget to hit the like button down below, and leave a comment as I love to hear from you guys!
